Welcome to 2023!

Who do you want to become in 2023? Read on for the notes and links to the very first episode of the Rocking Midlife® Podcast for 2023. Once you tune in, you’ll hear my personal update as well as a challenge for you!
To give you some perspective, recorded this first episode of the Rocking Midlife® Podcast in mid January – well before the record breaking weather bomb that hit New Zealand, causing widespread flooding and damage to Auckland, the city I live in. Hence, I sound quite upbeat and positive in the episode, giving an update on my personal world and asking you about how you are, and who you want to become in 2023.
Incidents like the flooding being experienced here, various natural disasters, escalating political conflict and more all around the globe, are reminders that there is so much out of our control, and that oftentimes, life can absolutely suck.

- Want to become more intentional in which relationships you put time and effort into this year?
- Want to become more mindful and less stressed?
- Want to create a life that is purposeful and fulfilling?
- Want to become more grateful and less judgemental?
Then start dreaming, planning and taking action to become that person!

We’re only one month into the year, and despite what country you live in, so much has already happened that is out of our control. Nevertheless, there are still 11 months to go where you have the possibility of experiencing growth in so many areas of your life, if you choose to intentionally focus on who you want to become this year.
So here’s to 2023. Whilst it might be off to a bumpy start, may we never lose the ability to hope and dream!
