The power of a Vision for your life!

This week’s guest on the Rocking Midlife® Podcast is a beautiful, vibrant lady from my homeland of Australia – Edwina Murphy-Droomer. Edwina is a “Vision Building Mentor” which is a fabulous name for a mentor who helps women create vision boards, then supports them to bring their dreams and goals to life. Her own story is like many women’s, with her personal metamorphosis springing from her darkest hour as a suddenly single, broke mother with four children to leading a full-colour life of love, prosperity, and freedom.
Now, as a Professional Interviewer and Transformational Coach, Edwina is a powerhouse in the fields of vision building and transformation. She has supported thousands of women to create an exciting vision for the life they want to live and then provides the support and accountability to bring that vision to life.

During our conversation, Edwina makes some thought-provoking points, including:
- We women often spend so much time planning the perfect wedding day or the most amazing event – yet we never take the time to create a vision and plan of the life we want to live – including all areas, some examples being our health, our relationships, our careers etc.
- Who you want to BE will affect what you want to achieve. Achieving external goals requires internal growth.
- “If it’s going to be, it’s up to me!” Want to reach your goals? Want to change your life? Then you will need to accept that no-one is coming to rescue you – it’s up to you to roll up your sleeves and do the work.
